Rhodium Plating Processes
Rhoduna TD
Rhoduna TD produces extremely white rhodium deposits up to a thickness of 0.5 µm.
Rhoduna J1 & J2
The Rhoduna J1 bath is intended for the deposition of brilliant-white, very light, bright rhodium coatings.
It is particularly suitable for rhodium plating of jewellery, watches, spectacle frames and other articles for decorative refinement.
Rhoduna J2 is similar to J1 with the addition of a wetting agent.
Black Rhoduna 470
Black Rhoduna 470 is used to produce black rhodium coatings for decorative purposes. The coatings are lustrous up to a maximum thickness of 0.3 µm.
In order to achieve ideal results, it is absolutely essential to treat coatings subsequently by an anodic process in Black Rhoduna 470 Post Treatment. This post-treatment will enhance the hardness, abrasion and tarnish resistance properties of the deposit.
Rhoduna 271
Specifically for the brush / pencil plating of Rhodium. The solution is ready to use and deposits are abrasion resistant, light and bright.
The process features high covering power and a plating rate of 0.2 µm per minute.
Rhoduna 272
A rhodium electrolyte especially designed for brush plating.
The process has very high covering power together with fast deposition speed.
Good abrasion resistance is achieved and the coating is both light and bright.
Ruthenium Plating Processes
Black Ruthenium 477
Black Ruthenium 477 is a strongly acidic ruthenium electrolyte from which decorative coatings of a grey to anthracite colour up to 0.5 µm thickness can be deposited.
The bath is easy to operate and the deposited coatings have high colour constancy and retain their brightness.
