L Filter Units
The L Filter Units are manufactured in two body styles - the L20 and the L30/L50.
They are of sturdy polypropylene construction suitable for most plating solutions. They are simple to use, with the following advantages -
- Self-priming pump, provided that the filter chamber is filled with solution at the beginning of filtration.
- Quick fastening / opening lid.
- Very high corrosion resistance of all components.
- Adjustable flow rate tap.
- The units can be fitted with a "Speed Change" assembly which incorporate a choice of either 10" / 20" long poly wound cartridges, conventional plates, pads and paper or a refillable canister with either granular carbon or ion exchange resin.
Accessories required -
- 2 off inlet / outlet PVC hoses
- 1 Only strainer
Optional Extras -
- 1 only pressure gauge
Flow Rate
The L Units have a variety of flow rates dependent on the choice of pump and filtration type.
Pumps
The Units come with a choice of pumps - the M15 or M35 for the L20 unit and the M35 or M50 for the L30/L50 units. The larger pumps should be chosen where a high flow rate is required. The M15, M35 and M50 pumps are magnetically coupled, centrifugal units, thus helping to avoid any leakages. They are self-priming and are available in single or three phase. The pump body is made of polypropylene and its closed impeller guarantees greater efficiency and silent operation. The impeller is guided by a ceramic shaft.
