Schloetter Co Ltd are manufactures and suppliers of plating chemistry and paint for the finishing industry. Originally formed in Germany, in 1912, Schloetter have a number of companies placed around the world, but remain family owned.
From our UK base in Pershore, Worcestershire, we manufacture both chemical and paint products, have a fully equipped service laboratory and co-ordinate our research and development of paint finishes.
Whether you are looking for increased corrosion protection, increased wear resistance or are just looking to improve the aesthetics and visual appearance of your product we can supply a process to meet the most demanding requirements.

Appointment of Two New Directors
Schloetter is proud to announce, that after many years of service, Richard Whatcott and Paul Griffiths are appointed as Financial Director / Company secretary and Sales / Technical Director respectively.
Richard Whatcott joined Schloetter in 1985 as an accountant and one year later, Paul Griffiths joined as a technical sales representative. Since then, both have seen promotion through the company, with Paul becoming Sales & Marketing manager in 1988 and Richard being appointed company secretary in 1991. Having both proven themselves by their contribution towards the continued strength and stability of the company, it is a suitable recognition and progression to appoint them both as directors.
Schloetter Celebrate their Centenary
2012 will see the centenary anniversary of the beginning of the Schlötter organisation by Dr Ing Max Schlötter, in Berlin, Germany. The UK company, inaugurated in 1969, is a successful addition to the world-wide activity of the organisation, overcoming the many challenges in the UK market place to emerge as a leading manufacturing supplier within the UK.
Both Richard and Paul recognise that the future will bring Many new Challenges for the industry, ranging from legislation issues such as REACH to the financial turmoil of the European and World markets. They are looking forward to continuing the company's strength and reliability toward and beyond its UK half century with the continued support of our customers, suppliers and staff.
Schloetter Exhibit at Surface World
Schloetter recently had a stand at the Surface World Exhibition at the NEC where we were displaying finishes from our zinc and zinc alloy range of processes, passivates, precious metal plating and paint finishes for glass and plastic substrates.
The exhibition was well attended and there was particular interest in our highly flexible AQUAFLEX range of paints and our new AQUACRYL SCW 380 series - a new ultra low VOC paint system for plastic.
