Slotopas Z 20 Blue Thin Layer Passivation A trivalent blue passivate suitable for use on all types of zinc deposits and is supplied as a liquid concentrate. Slotopas Z 20 has a low make up cost and extended life. This passivate maintains a consistent blue and corrosion resistance conversion coating throughout the life of the bath and will maintain these characteristics even after heat treatment at 200°C. Salt spray figures well in excess of 48 hours are possible. Slotopas HK 10 Thick Layer Passivation |

| Slotopas HK 20 Thick
Layer Passivation
Slotopas HK20 is a high performance trivalent process designed to meet or exceed the DIN 50961 standard for a yellow passivate. The appearance is a pale blue/yellow/green. Corrosion resistance results are exceptional and are not affected by heat treatment. 250 to 275 hours resistance to white rust is readily achieved. Suitable for all types of zinc and zinc alloys, in either rack or barrel applications. |

| Slotopas G 10 Yellow
Passivation
A trivalent (chrome VI-free) passivation process producing yellow-green protective layers on zinc coatings. The corrosion resistance is excellent and is equivalent to the protecting effects of a yellow-chromating process based on chrome VI. Unlike Chrome VI processes it is unaffected by normal heat treatment. |
Metapas F Yellow Passivation An iridescent passivate, suitable for all types of zinc solutions. Metapas F Yellow is both chloride and fluoride free. Good adhesion and corrosion resistance is achieved in both rack and barrel installations. |
Slotopas Yellow 10 Passivation A yellow iridescent passivate, particularly designed for alkaline, cyanide and acid zinc produced deposits. Supplied as liquid concentrate, Slotopas Yellow 10 has a low percentage make up and short immersion times. This passivate is low in Chromium VI making it more ecologically acceptable with lower cost effluent treatment. The chromate film has excellent adhesion to zinc surfaces and high corrosion resistance. |
Metapas Olive Passivation A passivate for the olive passivation of zinc deposits from acid electrolytes. Supplied as a liquid concentrate, Metapas Olive produces a dark olive green film conforming to corrosion resistance standard DIN 50961 without further treatment. |
Metapas F Black Passivation This process produces an even, deep, black chromate film on zinc surfaces. The process can be replenished to extend the solution life. Corrosion resistance in excess of 72 hours in rack and 48 hours barrel applications is achievable. Metapas F Black is improved by the application of Post Dip CF. |
Metapas B Black Passivation A salt version of Metapas F Black. |
METAPAS CC Post Dip Solution This post dip solution greatly improves the adhesion of yellow chromated layers and improves corrosion resistance. |
Post-Dip Solution CF For use following Metapas Olive, Black or Yellow, Post Dip CF fixes the passivate film producing an optically even appearance with enhanced corrosion resistance. |

Slotofin 10 Sealant Slotofin 10 is a post treatment process for zinc-nickel deposits that have been passivated with a clear film. The system is water based and can be applied by immersion or by spray. Corrosion resistance is improved and smudging after drying is reduced. Slotofin 10 does not contain chromium VI. |
Slotofin 20 Sealant Based on silicate, Slotofin 20 is an alkaline process for the post treatment of passivated zinc and zinc alloy coatings. This process can enhance the corrosion protection by a factor of two. |

Slotopas SL10 Yellow Passivation A process for the yellow-green iridescent passivation of zinc alloys containing 10-15% nickel. Chromated zinc-nickel coatings achieve approximately 5 times the corrosion resistance to white rust of passivated zinc coatings in salt spray test to DIN 50021. Corrosion resistance also remains very good after heat treatment at 120°C. Zinc coatings in salt spray test to DIN 50021. Corrosion resistance also remains very good after heat treatment at 120°C. |
Slotopas ZN60 Black Passivation A silver-free process for black chromating of zinc-nickel coatings containing 12-15% nickel from alkaline electrolytes.
Slotopas ZN20 Post Dip A single stage post dip process for black chromated of zinc-nickel alloy deposits. This process fixes the chromate film, producing good optical evenness and improved corrosion resistance. The system does not contain Chrome VI. |
